The COVID-19 pandemic is a catalyst for innovation to strengthen the long-term in Canada to address many long-standing and significant concerns in the sector. Technology has much potential for helping to address some of the most fundamental problems in long-term care and ultimately optimizing quality of life and physical health of residents, caregivers and their families. This webinar will share key findings from an AGE-WELL funded project that included: 1) a recent series of four virtual citizen panels convened with socioeconomically and ethnoculturally diverse participants across the country; and 2) a national stakeholder dialogue that was convened following the panels where health-systems leaders deliberated about what actions are needed to support an innovation agenda for long-term care in Canada.
