Anika Garg

Queen Elizabeth Scholar in Strengthening Health and Social Systems (2023)

Anika is an undergraduate student in the Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) program at Â鶹ÊÓƵ University. She currently works as a research assistant with the Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s ForumLab. In this position, she contributes to the COVID-END, Health Systems Evidence, and Social Systems Evidence databases. Through her involvement in population health research and the Â鶹ÊÓƵ she has developed an interest in public health, evidence-informed decision making, and improving health systems.

As an outgoing Queen Elizabeth Scholar, Anika will be travelling to Australia to work at the Sax Institute in Sydney, NSW. Anika will be supporting and learning from the Evidence Connect team, and hopes to gain further insight into the process of integrating evidence into decision making to enhance health systems.
